...ANOTHER POWERFUL WEEKEND STORM FOR SOUTHWEST COLORADO...

.A WEAK FRONT SET UP NEAR THE INTERSTATE 70 CORRIDOR THIS MORNING
THAT WILL PRODUCE SOME CONTINUED LIGHT SNOW INTO THE AFTERNOON.
THEN ATTENTION TURNS TO THE SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS AS A MOIST AND
UNSETTLED SOUTHWEST FLOW SETS UP THIS AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY. THE
SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS ARE FAVORED WITH THIS STORM WITH
NEIGHBORING MOUNTAINS EXPECTED TO GET SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL AS
WELL. THE FIRST PERIOD OF HEAVY SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TONIGHT
THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. THERE WILL ALSO BE LULLS IN THE SNOWFALL
WITH ONE LULL CURRENTLY TIMED FOR SUNDAY. MORE SNOW IS EXPECTED IS
EXPECTED THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.
