TONIGHT...

* TIMING...THE COLD FRONT IS SPREADING MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW
  SOUTHWARD. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS CURRENTLY OVER THE I-70 CORRIDOR
  AHEAD OF THE FRONT. SNOWFALL RATES IN EXCESS OF AN INCH PER HOUR
  WILL BE POSSIBLE NEAR THE FRONTAL PASSAGE.

* ACCUMULATION...AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 7 INCHES WITH LOCALIZED
  AMOUNTS UP TO FOOT AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS. WEST AND NORTHWEST
  FACING SLOPES WILL BE FAVORED.

* WINDS...ABOVE 9500 FEET...WEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
  40 MPH.

* IMPACTS...ALL MOUNTAIN PASSES WILL BE ICY AND SNOWPACKED. THE
  COMBINATIONS OF SNOW...FOG...AND DRIFTING AND BLOWING SNOW
  OVER MOUNTAIN PASSES WILL MAKE TRAVEL CHALLENGING DUE TO POOR
  VISIBILITY. THIS INCLUDES MCCLURE...VAIL AND RABBIT EARS
  PASSES... HIGHWAY 65 OVER GRAND MESA AND HIGHWAY 50 OVER
  MONARCH PASS.
