WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 9000 FEET FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 6 AM THURSDAY TO 9 PM MDT FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE THE CITIES OF...TAYLOR PARK...TELLURIDE...
  SILVERTON...RICO.

* TIMING...SNOWFALL WILL INCREASE THURSDAY MORNING WITH PERIODS OF
  HEAVY SNOW IN THE AFTERNOON. AFTER A DOWNTURN LATE THURSDAY
  EVENING...SNOW WILL AGAIN BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES FRIDAY
  AFTERNOON. IN ADDITION ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
  EACH AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 TO 8 INCHES BUT WITH LARGE VARIATION.
  HIGHER AMOUNTS ABOVE TREE LINE.

* SNOW LEVEL...AROUND 9000 FEET.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH THURSDAY SWITCHING TO NORTHWEST
  ON FRIDAY. LOCALLY GUSTY NEAR SHOWERS AND STORMS.

* VISIBILITY...LESS THAN 1 MILE AT TIMES IN SHOWERS.

* IMPACTS...ROADWAYS WILL BE SLUSHY...OR ICY AND SNOWPACKED AT
