...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 PM MDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in GRAND JUNCTION has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for moderate to occasionally heavy snow,
which is in effect from 9 PM this evening to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Columbine, Hahns Peak, Toponas, Aspen,
  Vail, Snowmass, Crested Butte, Taylor Park, Marble, Buford,
  and Trappers Lake.

* TIMING...Late this evening through Tuesday evening. Heaviest
  during the overnight hours tonight.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 to 6 inches.

* WINDS...West 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...The moderate to locally heavy snow will make travel
  difficult across many mountain passes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.

9 PM MDT TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in GRAND JUNCTION has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for moderate to locally heavy snow fall,
which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Telluride, Ouray, Lake City, Silverton,
  Rico, and Hesperus.

* TIMING...Late tonight through Tuesday evening. Heaviest snow
           will occur during the predawn hours Tuesday morning.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 to 6 inches.

* WINDS...West 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* IMPACTS...The moderate to locally heavy snow will make travel
  difficult across many mountain passes.
