...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING
ABOVE 9000 FEET...

The National Weather Service in GRAND JUNCTION has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory above 9000 feet for snow, which is in
effect until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Skyway.

* TIMING...Periods of snow, heavy at times, will continue through
  this evening.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 to 8 inches above 9000 feet, with 2 to 4
  inches below 9000 feet.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...Visibility will be reduced in moderate to heavy snow
  and higher elevation roadways may be snowpacked or slushy making
  travel difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
