...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MST
THURSDAY...

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BE INCREASING THIS EVENING...MAINLY EAST OF
  HIGHWAY 550. SNOW WILL BE ENDING QUICKLY AROUND SUNRISE.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...3 TO 7 INCHES WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS
  OVER SOUTHERN HINSDALE COUNTY AND EASTERN ARCHULETA COUNTY.
  ONLY 1 TO 3 INCHES IS EXPECTED WEST OF HIGHWAY 550.

* WINDS...NORTH 5 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

* IMPACTS...MOST OF THE SNOWFALL WILL OCCUR IN THE REMOTE AREAS OF
  THE SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS. PEOPLE IN THE BACK COUNTRY OF
  SOUTHERN HINSDALE COUNTY AND EASTERN ARCHULETA COUNTY SHOULD
  EXPECT MODERATE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
  LIGHTER ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED OVER COAL BANK AND
  MOLAS PASS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND/OR
BLOWING SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
