The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Nearshore Waters from South Haven to Manistee MI...
  Open Waters from South Haven to Manistee MI...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 517 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Manitowoc to 30 nm east of Bayside to 22 nm
  east of Winthrop Harbor, moving northeast at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  Saugatuck Pier Heads, Little Sable Point Light, White Lake Pier
  Heads, Grand Haven Light, Muskegon Light, and The White Lake
  Pierheads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southwestern
Michigan...and the adjacent waters of Lake Michigan.
