...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff continues.

* WHERE...A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the
  following county, Cabarrus.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 250 AM EDT, flooding of low-lying areas along the Rocky
    River and select tributaries such as Back Creek, will
    continue into the early morning hours. High water conditions
    could affect roads such as Pharr Mill, Stallings
    and Mount Pleasant Roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
