...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...
...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  counties, Grimes, Montgomery, Walker and Waller.

* WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
  with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 114 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is
    ongoing in the warned area. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Conroe, Willis, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Panorama Village,
    Magnolia, Cut And Shoot, New Waverly, Montgomery, Stagecoach,
    Todd Mission, Lake Conroe Dam, Dobbin, Dacus, Plantersville
    and Richards.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    County Road 202 at Hurricane Creek, Farm to Market 2854 at
    Alligator Creek, W Dallas and W Lewis Streets at Alligator
    Creek, State Highway 105 at Caney Creek, Mary Wagner Road at
    Hostetter Creek, Dacus Johnson Road at Lake Creek, Honea
    Egypt Road at Lake Creek, State Highway 105 Old Dobbin Road
    at Lake Creek, Superior Road at Lake Creek, Farm to Market
    149 at Little Lake Creek, Walden Road at Stewarts Creek, E
    Dallas Street at Stewarts Creek, State Highway 105 near East

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
