The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from High Island to Freeport TX out 20 NM...
  Galveston Bay...

* Until 630 AM CDT.

* At 503 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Eagle
  Point to 8 nm northwest of Bastrop Bay, moving east at 10 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  East Galveston Bay, Galveston Ship Channel, West Bay, Tabs Buoy B,
  Galveston Bay Entrance, Galveston Bay, Offatts Bayou, North Jetty,
  Galveston 221, Galveston Pier 21, Galveston 150, San Luis Pass,
  Galveston Causeway, Rollover Pass, Bastrop Bay, Christmas Bay, The
  Texas City Dike, Eagle Point, and Drum Bay.
