The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX out 20 NM...
  Waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 815 AM CDT.

* At 712 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from near West
  Cameron 165 to near High Island 199, moving southeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

  170, Sabine Pass 13, High Island 22, High Island 136, High Island
  199, High Island 167, West Cameron 165, High Island A177, West
  Cameron 342, High Island 110, High Island 52, High Island A201,
  West Cameron 294, High Island 129, High Island 5, High Island 138,
  and High Island 116.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
