The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Monroe County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 545 PM CDT.

* At 511 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of
  Tompkinsville, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Tompkinsville, Gamaliel, Fountain Run, Meshack, Persimmon, Forkton,
  Gum Tree, Blythe, Harlan Crossroads, and Freetown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for south central
Kentucky.
