...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT...

For the following areas...

  Nearshore Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Calumet Harbor...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

At 452 PM CDT, an area of strong southeast winds was located behind
a line of showers along a line extending from 12 nm west of Pleasant
Prairie to 12 nm southwest of Waukegan Harbor to 7 nm northeast of
Joliet, moving northeast at 45 knots. A brief period of strong
southeast winds is likely after this line reaches the Lake Michigan
shore shortly after 5 pm CDT.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Harrison-Dever Crib, Wilmette Harbor, 31st Street Harbor, Monroe
Harbor, Calumet Harbor, Winthrop Harbor, Montrose Harbor, Waukegan
Harbor, Burnham Harbor, Jackson Park Harbor, Belmont Harbor, and 59th
Street Marina.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
