average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.6 inches over central Lake Superior
will continue tracking northeast, crossing into northern Ontario
this evening and into Quebec by Sunday morning. During tonight
and Sunday, 30.4 inch high pressure will build over northern
Ontario as a 29.6 inch low pressure slowly lifts northeast across
the Central Plains. This low will continue to track northeast,
crossing western Lake Superior late in the day on Monday at 29.7
inches. As the low moves over northern Ontario Monday night, a
weak 29.9 inch ridge will shift east across the Mississippi
Valley. On Tuesday, the ridge will move toward the Appalachians as
the next low pressure of 29.6 inches tracks from the Dakotas to
northern Minnesota. This low will pass just north of Lake Superior
on Wednesday. In its wake, a 29.9 inch ridge will shift east to
the western Great Lakes by Wednesday evening. Overnight Wednesday
into Thursday, a 29.4 inch Colorado Low will weaken to 29.7 inches
as it approaches the Upper Midwest.
