...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Garza, Kent and Lynn Counties.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 657 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. The Graham West
    Texas Mesonet site reported 0.53" of rain in 10 minutes.
    Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Post, Lake Alan Henry, O`Donnell, Justiceburg and Grassland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
