A Heat Advisory is in effect through early this evening for the Davis Mountains, Chisos Basin, and lower Brewster County. Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon, mainly in Southeast New Mexico. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions are possible, mainly over the higher terrain west of the Pecos. Hazardous heat conditions are possible Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, mainly along the Rio Grande. There is a low risk of severe thunderstorms Wednesday, mainly over the Western Low Rolling Plains.
