The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line 0-20 nm...

* Until 800 PM EDT.

* At 728 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 12 nm northeast of Bethune Beach, or 15 nm
  northeast of Edgewater, moving southeast at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can can quickly form and capsize boats,
           damage vessels and create locally hazardous seas. Make
           sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Expect wind
           gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves,
           lightning and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are
           wearing life jackets. Return to safe harbor if possible.
           Large hail could result in injury and damage to boats.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
