FOR SOUTH CENTRAL BURT AND NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES...
At 316 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles west of
Herman, or 9 miles southwest of Tekamah, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage
to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Blair, Tekamah, Herman, Summit Lake State Recreation Area, and
Fontanelle.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
