...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall can be expected this
  evening as storms move through the Advisory area.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Houston, Humphreys and
  Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 437 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dickson, Ashland City, Waverly, Camden, Nashville, White
    Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram, New Johnsonville, McEwen,
    Burns, Hurricane Mills, Pleasant View, Charlotte, Vanleer,
    Slayden, Cheatham Dam, Bells Bend, Beaman Park and Whites
    Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
