.DISCUSSION...

Easterly winds at 20 to 25 mph gusting 35 to 40 mph will develop
between 0900 and 1100 this morning and persist through the afternoon
and evening, decreasing slightly overnight, with gusts 25 to 25 mph
through the day Friday. Scattered snow showers will also continue
to persist today, with a 30% chance of precipitation through 1600,
with chances generally decreasing through the rest of the afternoon.
Drier and warmer conditions are expected through the weekend with
light northwest winds expected through the weekend as well. There is a
10% chance of thunderstorms each afternoon Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
