...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT THE MUNICIPALITIES FROM
UTUADO TO SAN JUAN THROUGH 500 PM AST...

At 402 PM AST, Doppler radar was tracking a line with strong
thunderstorms capable of producing strong gusty winds, and downpours
over the interior municipalities from Utuado to the northern
municipalities near San Juan, moving northeast at 10 mph. Sudden
waterspout are possible across the coastal areas of the northern
municipalities.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
         and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
San Juan, Sabana Seca, Catano, Toa Baja, Vega Alta, Ciales, Morovis,
Florida, Toa Alta, Manati, Vega Baja, Barceloneta, Dorado, Corozal,
Guaynabo, Ceiba, Miranda, Pajonal, San Jose, and Galateo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Juan.
