.SYNOPSIS FOR HIGH ISLAND TO MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL OUT 60 NM...
Moderate to strong east winds will persist through this evening.
Wind are expected to become more southeasterly overnight. This
long onshore fetch will continue into the weekend resulting in
elevated seas and tides. Chances of showers and thunderstorms will
increase tonight and continue through the weekend. A cold front
and associated showers and thunderstorms will push off the coast
on Sunday. Moderate to strong offshore winds can be expected in
the wake of the front.
