.SYNOPSIS FOR THE SOUTHERN OREGON COASTAL WATERS...A strong front
will move through the waters today. Gales are expected over much
of the waters with storm force winds near Cape Blanco and beyond
1 to 2 nm from shore north of Pistol River. Very steep and
hazardous wind driven seas will peak early this afternoon near
23 feet. Winds and seas will diminish this afternoon but will
remain very steep and hazardous through Monday morning. Active
weather will continue through the week with another period of
gales possible by Tuesday morning.
