...Potential for Heavy Rain Late Saturday through Sunday
Evening...

A dynamic low pressure system will result in a northward surge of
Gulf moisture over the region on Saturday. High moisture levels,
and a prolonged period of rainfall will likely result in rises in
local rivers. Rainfall totals through Sunday night may exceed 4
inches across portions of the area.

While uncertainty remains with the placement of the heaviest
rainfall axis, the potential for high rainfall rates and amounts
will likely result in increased runoff into local rivers and
streams. This could push area streams and rivers into flood.
Residents living in flood prone areas should pay close attention
to the latest forecast information. Since the bulk of the
rainfall may be at night, motorists should be especially cautious
as flooding is harder to recognize at night.
