...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH 10
PM MONDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for the Chetco Bar wildfire burn scar in
  Curry County. This does NOT include the cities of Brookings,
  Harbor, or Pistol River.

* From 4 AM Monday morning through 10 PM Monday night.

* Heavy rainfall rates and 24 hour totals of 3 to 4 inches with up
  to 5 inches possible in higher terrain is expected.

* Land/mudslides and debris flows will be possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Landslides and debris flows are possible during this flood event.
People, structures and roads located below steep slopes, in
canyons and near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk
from rapidly moving landslides.
