...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN POLK...MCMINN AND SOUTHWESTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

AT 357 PM EDT...MCMINN COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED HEAVY
RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE COUNTY.  SEVERAL ROADWAYS WERE
CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER.  IN EXCESS OF THREE INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
ALREADY FALLEN. ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
ATHENS...ETOWAH...ENGLEWOOD...CALHOUN...COKER CREEK...RICEVILLE...
HIWASSEE OCOEE S.P....DENTVILLE...BULLET CREEK...HILLSVIEW AND
TURTLETOWN.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 1 INCH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED
AREA.
