ROBERTSON...NORTHWESTERN DAVIDSON...NORTHEASTERN HUMPHREYS...EASTERN
HOUSTON...CHEATHAM...SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY...DICKSON AND WESTERN SUMNER
COUNTIES...

AT 607 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING
HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE
FALLEN. SEVERAL AREAS ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING FLASH FLOODING,
INCLUDING PORTLAND IN SUMNER COUNTY.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF OF AN INCH
ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TURN AROUND...DON`T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
