The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Central Cabarrus County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...

* Until 330 PM EST

* At 133 PM EST, reporting gauges indicate the Rocky River has
  crested and has begun to slowly fall. The current reading is just
  below the flood stage of 16.5 feet. With no significant amounts of
  precipitation expected upstream of the area...a continued drop in
  the river level is expected through the afternoon. Minor flooding
  conditions will begin to ease along the river...including areas
  near Pharr Mill Road and Mount Pleasant Road.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report flood water flowing over roads or threatening property,
or landslides to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
1, 800, 2 6 7, 8 1 0 1, or by posting on our Facebook page, or Tweet
