The National Weather Service in Midland has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  South central Pecos County in southwestern Texas...

* Until 615 PM CDT

* At 318 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Up to one inch has fallen already which will cause
  arroyo and small stream flooding in the advisory area.

  Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
  Pecos County, but will affect portions of US Highway 285, 30 to
  45 miles south of Fort Stockton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
