Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
354 AM EST Tue Feb 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...Low clouds and areas of fog associated with a weak
warm front will dissipate as the front becomes diffuse later this
morning. Cannot rule out an isolated shower this afternoon but a
large majority of the forecast area should remain dry. Stratus
and fog may develop again tonight due to ample low level moisture.
The weather pattern will remain unsettled through Wednesday night
when a strong cold front crosses the area.

Transport winds today will be light southeast at sunrise
then veer south to southwest 15 to 20 mph for the afternoon.
MIN RH will be 40 to 45 percent with max mixing heights reaching
4000 to 5000 feet in the afternoon.
