Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas

.DISCUSSION...
Our very dry weather will continue today with min RH`s in the
lowlands in the single digits and near 10% in area mountains. On
Saturday we will see a chance for thunderstorms in the Sacramento
Mountains. A few of these storms may produce dry lightning. Winds
will stay below critical levels today through Sunday. For the
next week, we will see dry to very dry conditions with winds
increasing each day. For planning purposes, we will see elevated
to near critical fire weather conditions next Wednesday and
Thursday and there is a good chance that we will see critical
fire weather conditions a week from today.
