Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Interior Central California
National Weather Service San Joaquin Valley - Hanford CA
250 PM PDT Mon Oct 23 2017

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE
HUMIDITY FOR THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS THROUGH 6 PM TUESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
An area of high pressure over the West Coast will provide
California with a warming and drying trend through mid-week.
The surface high will strengthen today bringing moderate
offshore winds and low humidities for elevated fire danger
conditions over the Kern County Mountains. The ridge will
weaken toward mid-week, resulting in moderating temperatures
and better overnight humidity recovery.
