.DISCUSSION...

An upper level and surface low over Arkansas will track southeast into
the northeast Gulf of Mexico through Wednesday. This will continue
to produce low clouds, and pockets of light rain and drizzle tonight
into early Wednesday. This precipitation will remain on the light
side, remaining under one or two tenths of an inch. The rain and
drizzle will gradually diminish from west to east on Wednesday
afternoon. Smoke dispersion values will be fair on Wednesday.

South to southwest flow will develop Thursday into Friday with
unseasonably warm temperatures expected. Smoke dispersion will
be fair to good on Thursday with deeper mixing heights reaching
4500-6500 feet during the afternoon hours.

A cold front will arrive Friday night producing scattered showers
and thunderstorms. Behind the front, cooler and drier air will
arrive through the weekend.

Fog potential over the next few days: Low clouds and drizzle are
expected to develop tonight into early Wednesday. Some ridge and
mountain tops may experience some fog as a result of the low
cloudiness.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag conditions are not
anticipated through this weekend.
