Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
244 PM CDT Sun Aug 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

An upper level ridge of high pressure will be in place across
north Alabama through Tuesday before it shifts west and allows
a cold front to drop south on Wednesday. Other than a few isolated
showers and storms, most locations should remain dry through
Tuesday. High temperatures will peak in the low to mid 90s, each
day, with RH values bottoming out in the 40 to 50 percent range.
Dispersion will be fairly poor on Monday, but will improve by Tuesday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy valley fog is possible
late tonight and again late Monday night near rivers and lakes.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: Red Flag conditions are not
anticipated during the next several days.
