.DISCUSSION...

Dry conditions are anticipated across the Mid-South through Friday.
Temperatures will remain well above normal the next few days,
with afternoon highs in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees Thursday
and Friday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Friday,
mainly during the late afternoon and evening hours, as a cold
front moves across the region.

Much cooler temperatures are expected over the weekend, with
afternoon highs in the 50s. Low temperatures are expected to be
near freezing Sunday morning. Rain chances return to the forecast
early next week.
