.DISCUSSION...

Tuesday will be dry and mild under the influence of high pressure
with filtered sun through high clouds. The warmth will slowly
break down Wednesday bringing breezy southwest winds (50% chance
of gusts 30 mph or greater on the Waterville Plateau) and small
chances for showers in the Cascades (30% chance). Showers become
more widespread Thursday into Friday. There is a 30-70% chance of
a wetting rain (0.10") in the eastern third of WA and a 60-90%
chance for the Panhandle Thursday evening through Saturday
morning. There is a small chance of thunderstorms (15%) to
Northeast WA, Spokane area, and the ID Panhandle Friday. Saturday
brings additional small chances of thunder to Northeast WA and
the ID Panhandle. Next week remains unsettled.
