Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
152 PM PDT Wed Sep 20 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Cool and wet weather continues through
Thursday with snow for the high Cascades. Isolated thunderstorms
are possible through tonight. High pressure will result in dry
weather Friday into next week with gradual warming.

.DISCUSSION...Isolated thunderstorms will continue over the
district this afternoon with the threat for storms decreasing
from north to south tonight. Gusty southwest winds are possible
across NW Oregon through early this evening. Broad low pressure
will linger over the area Thursday and continue showers, but the
chance for wetting rain diminishes after tonight. Snow levels
will remain between 4500 and 5500 feet through Thursday evening.
High pressure builds Friday and holds through at least the
beginning of next week for drier weather and gradual warming.

$$

***Thunderstorms imply strong gusty winds ***
***Winds are 20-Foot 10 Minute Averages***
***CWR-Chance of Wetting Rain 0.25 or greater***
