Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
204 PM PDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...Will continue see some breezy winds out
of the south today, increasing further tonight. Rain returns in
earnest this evening at the coast, spreading inland overnight.
Rain tapers to showers Wednesday night and Thursday. Friday looks
like a genuinely dry day as far as rain is concerned, but will
continue to see excellent humidity recovery. A showery pattern
remains in place through much of next week.

.DISCUSSION...A front with more moisture will move through the
area Wednesday with rain starting this evening at the coast and
spreading inland overnight. Will see high chances of wetting rain
across the region tonight and Wednesday before rain turns to
showers Wednesday afternoon or evening through Thursday.
Wednesday`s front will also bring some breezy to windy conditions
across the entire local forecast area out of the south. Friday
currently looks dry with no rain but still high nighttime humidity
and not dropping below about 50 percent during the daytime.
Overall the area will remain in a progressive and showery pattern
over the next week with not more than a day or two of dry weather
and winds out of the south or west. Bowen
