Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
604 PM MDT Thu Apr 27 2017

.Discussion...

A strong weather system will bring widespread rain and
snow to all of southern Colorado Friday night and Saturday.
Heavy snow will be possible for the mountain areas...
particularly south of highway 50, and rain will change over
to snow by Saturday morning across most of the lower
elevations as well. This system will pull away from the
area Saturday night with dry weather returning for Sunday.
Another round of showers will move in for the middle of
next week. Temperatures will remain below normal.

Smoke dispersion will range from good to excellent across
the region at midday on Friday, with values quickly falling
into the poor range by late afternoon as cloud and
precipitation develop. On Saturday, smoke dispersion will
stay mainly in the good range through the day as transport
winds remain strong.
