Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
425 AM PDT Sat Sep 23 2017

Current warnings/watches...none.

.DISCUSSION...An offshore upper level ridge will bring a little
warming today with morning clouds giving way to partly sunny skies
for most locations east of Puget Sound...with areas west remaining
cloudy with a slight chance for light rain. Humidity will still be
elevated and high temperatures will be a little below normal. This
weak ridge will remain over the region through Tuesday but will
allow transient weak weather systems to bring additional clouds this
weekend and some spotty light rain to the area again Monday. The
ridge will build Tuesday and Wednesday with a return to mostly sunny
skies and continued warming temperatures.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
