Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Wyoming and WRN South Dakota
National Weather Service Rapid City SD
457 AM MDT Mon Jul 24 2017

.DISCUSSION...Hot temperatures are expected today with highs in
the 90s to near 105 degrees. Very dry afternoon minimum relative
humidities in the teens to lower 20s are expected, but winds will
be relatively light over northeast Wyoming and southwest South
Dakota where the driest air is expected. A few breezy spots may
occur over south central South Dakota, where the air will be more
moist. Early morning thunderstorms over northwest South Dakota
will end with isolated storms possible this afternoon and tonight.

Better chances for thunderstorms are expected Tuesday afternoon
and night as cooler air starts to move into the area. The cooler
air will persist through Thursday, along with some thunderstorms.
