...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

A shallow marine layer will impact the district again tonight with
moderate to locally poor humidity recoveries above the marine layer.
High pressure will build over the region leading to a district wide
warming and drying trend. Fire weather concerns over the next few
days will be Saturday and Sunday with peak heating and drying
combined with gusty afternoon winds. The ridge will weaken early
next week returning the region to more seasonable weather.

...Discussion from SFOFWFSTO...

Dry southwest flow aloft and near normal temperatures today.
Trending warmer and drier Friday into the weekend. Winds generally
light and terrain driven. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms
over the Sierra crest early next week as a weak low pressure system
moves into Northern California.
