.DISCUSSION...

Partly to mostly cloudy and dry conditions expected today.
Minimum relative humidity is forecast to be between 26-27 percent
at the burn site today, and a Fire Danger Statement is in effect
for Murray County through 8PM. Driest conditions will be in the
southern and eastern portions of the county. 20-ft winds will be
out of the south at 5-10 mph today, and will largely run parallel
to ridgetops. Any wobbles to the west would support downsloping
down the eastern side. Transport winds will be out of the south at
12-17 mph. Mixing heights will peak at 4-5kft this afternoon,
supportive of good ventilation.

Overnight, expect cloud cover to increase to overcast skies. Fog
development is unlikely. Chances for showers and isolated
thunderstorms will increase after 8 AM, becoming highest (40-45%)
between 2 and 7PM. Rainfall totals over the whole day are forecast
to be less than a tenth of an inch. Due to increase moisture from
precipitation chances, minimum relative humidity will be higher
on Wednesday, between 45 and 50 percent. 20-ft winds will pick up
out of the south at 12-15 mph by 11AM to noon. Transport winds
start out out of the south at 10-15 mph through 10AM, then will
shift to the southwest and increase to 21-26 mph. Mixing will be
weaker due to lower clouds, with heights peaking at 2-3kft.
