.DISCUSSION...
DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED TODAY WITH TEMPERATURES FINALLY ABOVE
NORMAL. HIGHS SHOULD BE IN THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S. WITH WEAK
HIGH PRESSURE MOVING ACROSS THE REGION...A LIGHT WESTERLY FLOW
WILL GRADUALLY TURN TO THE SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH THIS AFTERNOON.
DURING THE TRANSITION PERIOD THIS MORNING TO EARLY AFTERNOON...
WIND DIRECTIONS MAY BE MORE VARIABLE THAN INDICATED IN THE HOURLY
FORECAST BELOW. WIND SPEEDS WILL GENERALLY BE 5 TO 10 MPH...WITH
SOME INCREASE LATE IN THE DAY AS THE SOUTHERLY FLOW BECOMES MORE
ESTABLISHED.

A COUPLE OF DISTURBANCES WILL MOVE EASTWARD TONIGHT AND THURSDAY
NIGHT. RAIN CHANCES WILL GENERALLY INCREASE THROUGH THIS PERIOD...
BECOMING QUITE LIKELY BY THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING. A
STRONG COLD FRONT WILL USHER THROUGH ON FRIDAY BRINGING THE WINDS
AROUND TO A STOUT NORTHERLY DIRECTION ALONG WITH MUCH COOLER AIR
FOR SATURDAY. IN FACT SATURDAYS HIGHS WILL ONLY BE ABOUT 60 TO 65
DEGREES. ONLY VERY SPORADIC CHANCES FOR SHOWERS WILL OCCUR EARLY
NEXT WEEK.
