SHIFT EASTWARD TO SOUTHEAST QUEBEC BY THIS AFTERNOON ALLOWING A WEAK
29.9 INCH RIDGE TO CROSS LAKE SUPERIOR. THIS EVENING...A TROUGH
AVERAGING 29.5 INCHES WILL STRETCH FROM NORTHERN SASKATCHEWAN
THROUGH WESTERN MINNESOTA AND BEGIN LIFTING TO THE NORTHEAST. THE
NORTHERN EDGE OF THE TROUGH WILL STRENGTHEN TO 29.0 INCHES MONDAY
NIGHT AS IT MOVES OVER JAMES BAY. AT THE SAME TIME...A 29.6 INCH
TROUGH WILL SLIDE EAST ACROSS THE UPPER GREAT LAKES REGION.
TUESDAY...THE UPPER GREAT LAKES REGION WILL BE BETWEEN A 29.0 INCH
LOW OVER HUDSON BAY AND A 30.0 INCH HIGH OVER THE SOUTHEAST UNITED
STATES. WEDNESDAY...THE LOW OVER HUDSON BAY WILL SLIDE EASTWARD AS A
WEAK RIDGE OF 30.0 INCHES MOVES INTO THE OHIO VALLEY. BY
THURSDAY...A BROAD 29.6 INCH TROUGH WILL DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHERN
AND CENTRAL PLAINS STATES.
