THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHEAST WINDS...AS WELL AS SCATTERED TO
WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...WILL OCCUR AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TODAY. THERE WILL THEN BE A BREAK
IN THE ACTION BEFORE ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM MOVE FROM
WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE REGION WITH THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL TRANSPORT COOLER AND DRIER AIR INTO THE
REGION THURSDAY. COMBINED WITH DRY FUELS...THIS WILL AGAIN RESULT
IN FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA.

ANOTHER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THE REGION BY
EARLY NEXT WEEK.
