THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING LOCAL FLOODING OF URBAN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS MAINLY IN
CAMERON WILLACY AND HIDALGO COUNTY WHERE THE SHOWERS PERSIST IN
BANDS...MAINLY THIS MORNING NEAR THE COAST AND THROUGH EARLY
AFTERNOON INLAND.

A HIGH THREAT OF RIP CURRENTS IS EXPECTED ON THE BEACHES OF SOUTH
PADRE ISLAND TODAY AND THIS EVENING. A DEVELOPING BLOOM OF RED
TIDE MAY BE NOTICEABLE IN THE SURF TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THURSDAY: A RESIDUAL MODERATE TO HIGH THREAT OF RIP CURRENTS WILL
CONTINUE ON THE BEACHES OF SOUTH PADRE ISLAND...AND A POSSIBLE
BLOOM OF RED TIDE MAY CONTINUE IN THE SURF.

THURSDAY AND MONDAY: ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS MAINLY IN THE LOWER
VALLEY WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

MILE IN A FEW SPOTS...OCCASIONAL TO FREQUENT CLOUD TO WATER
LIGHTNING...BRIEF WIND GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS...AND BRIEFLY CHOPPY
WATERS.

ISOLATED STORMS MAY FORM OVERNIGHT MAINLY IN THE GULF SOUTH OF
PORT MANSFIELD...WITH OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING THE
PRIMARY THREAT.
