This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Patchy dense fog is possible late tonight north of U.S. Highway
30. Any dense fog that develops could deposit a layer of ice on
roadways. Motorists should remain alert for reduced visibility and
slick roads.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Patchy dense fog and icy roads may continue Sunday morning, north
of U.S. Highway 30.

Areas of dense fog reducing visibilties down to a quarter mile or
less, may occur across portions of the Outlook area Sunday night
into early Monday morning. Also, some patchy freezing drizzle may
form in areas where the surface temperature drops below freezing
later Sunday night into early Monday morning. The latest indications
suggest that areas generally along and 30 miles north of the
Interstate 80 corridor may be more favored for this activity. If the
freezing drizzle does manage to form late Sunday night, there may be
some risk of it lingering into the Monday morning commute.

Accumulating snow is possible Thursday through Friday. It is too
early to forecast the exact track of the low and potential snow
amounts. Those with travel plans late in the week should keep up
with the latest forecast.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Reports of any dense fog and slick road conditions tonight and
Sunday night would be appreciated.
