SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE FOR AREAS WEST OF
INTERSTATE 135 LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT. A FEW STRONG
STORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER CENTRAL KANSAS...WITH SMALL HAIL AND
STRONG WIND GUSTS TO 55 MPH.

HEAT INDICES WILL HOVER NEAR 100 DEGREES ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS
THIS AFTERNOON.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE FOR THE ENTIRE AREA FROM WEST
TO EAST THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH THE MOST WIDESPREAD
ACTIVITY THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS WITH...SMALL HAIL...WIND GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL ARE POSSIBLE.
