This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Illinois and southeast Illinois.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Scattered thunderstorms will occur across the area through this
evening. A few of the thunderstorms will be capable of producing
additional heavy rainfall amounts this afternoon. Many locations
over southeast Illinois received from 1 to 3 inches of rain from
last night`s storms. An additional one half to one inch possible
with some of the stronger storms today which may lead to localized
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

An isolated thunderstorm will still be possible on Friday, but
drier weather will settle over the region for the weekend. Any
thunderstorm that develops Friday is not expected to be severe.

Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.

to continue into next week.
