This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop late
Friday afternoon ahead of a cold front. Severe storms are a strong
possibility, especially over southwest Indiana and the Pennyrile
Region of Kentucky after 3 PM. Damaging winds will be the greatest
threat, but damaging hail and isolated tornadoes will also be
possible. The severe potential should push east of the area by 9

The potential for thunderstorms returns to all or part of the area
Monday night and Tuesday. At this time, the main concerns appear to
be lightning and locally heavy rain.


Spotter activation may become necessary Friday afternoon and
evening, especially over southwest Indiana and east of the Land
Between the Lakes in west Kentucky.
