HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES THIS EVENING WILL
SHIFT EAST SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE NORTHERN LAKES
SUNDAY WHILE LOW PRESSURE MOVES CUTS ACROSS THE LOWER LAKES. WINDS
WILL BE LIGHT AND PRIMARILY BE WEST-SOUTHWEST UNTIL THE PASSAGE OF
THE SYSTEM SUNDAY. WINDS WILL BECOME MORE NORTHWESTERLY AS HIGH
PRESSURE BUILDS ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS AND TO THE LOWER LAKES FOR
MONDAY BUT REMAIN UNDER 25 KNOTS. ANOTHER DUAL SYSTEM...THIS ONE
STRONGER WILL AFFECT THE GREAT LAKES TUESDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL BE
CROSSING THE NORTHERN LAKES WHILE LOW PRESSURE MOVES NORTHEAST AND
DEEPENS ACROSS THE CENTRAL LAKES. WINDS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THIS
SYSTEM ON WEDNESDAY MAY EXCEED 25 KNOTS.

TEMPERATURES WILL START OUT VERY MUCH BELOW NORMAL SATURDAY BUT WILL
MODERATE A BIT SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL STILL SIT
NEAR TO BELOW NORMAL ACROSS ALL OF THE GREAT LAKES. ANOTHER SURGE OF
COLD AIR ARRIVES FOR WEDNESDAY WITH TEMPERATURES GETTING WELL BELOW
NORMAL ACROSS THE NORTHERN LAKES AND STAYING SOMEWHAT BELOW NORMAL
ELSEWHERE. SUB ZERO NIGHTS WILL STILL BE COMMON TONIGHT ACROSS ALL
OF THE LAKE AND THEN ACROSS THE NORTHERN LAKES WEDNESDAY MORNING.

ICE WILL BE MAINTAINED AND CONTINUE TO GROW AND THICKEN AT A
MODERATE TO RAPID PACE THROUGH WEDNESDAY. DURING THE DAYTIME THOUGH
THE EVER INCREASING SUN ANGLE WILL HELP DETER THE ICE GROWTH AND
EXPANSION OF THE ICE FIELDS SOME. SIGNIFICANT ICE SHIFTING COULD
